On the other, irresponsible unconscious ...。出国学成归来后的唐靖姿（陈凯琳饰）成为了一名见习律师，就在她对自己的前路充满了疑惑和迷惘之时，唐靖姿结识了名为范智毅（黄智贤饰）的律师，范智毅的雄辩和正义感感染了唐靖姿，后者毅然决定拜他为师，并因此结识了同门周梓博（张继聪饰）和霍紫凝（陈滢饰）等人。紫凝有一个同父异母的姐姐郑妁彤（唐咏诗饰），亦是一名律师，拜在大律师隽烨（郑子诚饰）的门下，随着时间的推移两人竟然日久生情。为了摆脱这段不会有结果的恋情，郑妁彤离开了隽烨的事务所，转而投靠了范智毅，和霍紫凝成为了同门，然而，霍紫凝对于她郑妁彤之间的血缘关系一无所知。。故事发生在未来，一个美裔白酒走私贩黑威廉在国际刑警艾波波的追击之下，四处逃窜。疯狂追击让他们的踪迹遍布全球各个区域，甚至到了火星外太空，黑威廉究竟能否成功将白酒走私到目的地火星？亦或出师未捷身先死，空留遗憾？。
