雅各布（沃坦·维尔克·默林 Wotan Wilke Möhring 饰）年近四十过着形单影只的生活，经济上的结局让他完全无法被称为一个合格的成年人，更何况，他有过一段非常失败的婚姻，并且还有一个从来都没有见过面的私生女。 为了改善经济条件，雅各布决定去做卡车司机，可是，正当他准备去上班之时，一个名为麦伊的十二岁女孩出现在了雅各布的面前，没错，她就是他的私生女。麦伊离家出走的原因很简单，那就是妈妈就要和一个她并不喜欢的男人组成一个新的家庭。就这样，雅各布带着麦伊坐上了破卡车，驶上了前往挪威的公路，一路上，并不熟络的父女两人之间爆发了无数的争吵和矛盾。。ARIMA It is the story of four women and a girl who- se existence is disrupted by the sudden arrival of two strangers.
