2022年7月12日第31届中国电视金鹰奖、第14届中国金鹰电视艺术节新闻发布会暨启动仪式在北京举行并发布宣传视频。马丽（吉娜·马隆 Jena Malone 饰）是一位非常虔诚的天主教信徒，坚信上帝会对她的生活给出最公正的安排。然而有一天，马丽的男友突然向她坦白，自己其实是一名同志，这让马丽感到自己的整个世界都崩塌了。在上帝的指引下，马丽决定拯救自己误入歧途的男友，然而弄巧成拙的将男友成功变为了前男友。不仅如此，马丽还发现，自己的腹中竟然怀上了他的孩子。在马丽最为焦头烂额之际，她最好的朋友费伊（曼迪·摩尔 Mandy Moore 饰）也背叛了她，联手班上的其他女生一起对玛丽进行霸凌，反倒是平日里在班上很不受欢迎的吊车尾学生们，此时坚定的站在了马丽身后支持她。。Pauline follows the eponymous protagonist, an 18-year-old who accidentally becomes pregnant – from a one-night stand.
