Julia is a mother, or rather, one of many mothers, sisters, daughters, colleagues, who have had their lives torn apart by the widespread violence in a country waging a war against its women. Julia is searching for Ger, her daughter. And in her search, she will weave through the stories and struggles of the different women she will meet.。本剧为一廿集中篇处境剧，每集均有独立主题，故事环绕着一妇女团体“八娥会馆”发生，会馆由一群来自中上阶层的女性组成：会长赵关得英(李香琴)、对头人马惠(缃旖)、以夫为荣的贾玉芬(唐丽球)、才女唐咏诗(邱月清)等。这几名女子明争暗斗、互相利用，为大众情人葛德华(邓浩光)而争风呷醋，闹得会馆翻天覆地。讲述一支名为“秃鹫小队”的精英侦察部队的故事。1968年，正值越南战争最激烈的时期，他们被派往一个偏僻的丛林，寻找失踪的绿色贝雷帽排。他们很快发现丛林里有一些其它生物。。
