故事发生在明朝末年，大将军戚继光和兵部尚书戚继宇联手组成戚家军，对胆敢侵犯国土的倭寇迎头痛击。倭寇首领大岛正雄和朝中司礼大太监童大宝（于承惠饰）内外勾结，陷害戚继宇，导致戚家军解散，戚家遭到了满门抄斩，作为戚家唯一的后代，戚少正（吴京饰）不得不踏上了逃亡的旅途。少林寺方丈至一（王珏饰）将戚少正收为徒弟，童大宝得知了戚少正的下落，火烧少林，至一为了保护戚少正不幸身亡。之后，戚少正带着至一的血书前往南少林投奔圆照方丈（徐向东饰），并先后结识了小妮（法提麦·雅琦饰）、红莲和华子等人。血气方刚的一行年轻人，打算凭借他们自己的力量，重建戚家军。。Prime Video announced that the eight-episode docuseries Tampa Baes will drop this fall.
