荒廃した大地の上を、四人の制服姿の女子高生が黙々と歩く。 少女たちは、人類の絶滅を回避するために永遠に同じ日を繰り返す 現代から約６０００年先の未来に送り出された、タイムトラベラー。 学校で時間旅行の勉強をして、適正調査をされて、言われるがままに未来に飛ばされた。 何を成せばいいのかは……分からない。未来へ来た少女が現代から唯一運べたのは、玩具のような軽い携帯電話。当然、今は圏外。 少女たちが歩く途中、空を奇怪な鳥が飛び交い、遠くに流れる川も変色してしまっている。 そして少女の一人が無人の家を発見し、表札の名前に気づく。。In this powerful documentary, Mama Yang, an 84-year-old woman living in New York, finds herself in correspondence with 45 high security prison inmates she views as her own children. Most are Chinese American immigrants, and see in Mama Yang a mother figure they never knew before they stepped through prison walls.
