徐菁(李嘉欣)与青梅竹马的男友世昌(郭晋安)同在豪城酒店任职。菁为酒吧侍应，世昌则为宴会部主任。菁与昌本来打算两年後结婚，但一次偶然机会，菁结识了富家公子大为(吴镇宇)，大为对菁展开金钱挂帅的追求攻势，菁心动，遂答应与大为结婚。昌见大为之兄亨利(陈庭威)行为荒诞，又不理其妻莉莉(邓萃雯)，到处拈花惹草，故昌力劝菁，但菁不听。婚礼当日，竟发生了一件令人出乎意料之外的事……。Set in 1989, Jake (Harmon), an out-of-work photojournalist who struggles with addiction and a troubled past, takes a job as watchman of a wilderness lodge on a remote island in the Pacific Northwest, alongside veteran handyman Sparky (Granger). Jake sets up a darkroom to develop the photos he shoots, which begin to reveal disturbing premonitions of their future.。
