可可露（斋藤千和配音）、伊娜（泽城美雪配音）和爱洛朵（市原由美配音）是相依为命的三姐妹，彼此之间的感情非常的要好。三姐妹继承了父母留下来的一间图书馆，这间图书馆名为可可露图书馆。可可露图书馆里非常的冷清，几乎无人问津，这让对这份职业满怀期待的可可露稍微的有些失望，但很快的，第一位客人走了进来，他的名字叫做星野枫。可可露顺利的完成了自己的第一次服务，并且和星野枫约定了还书的日子。可是，眼看着还书日越来越近，星野枫却总也不见人影。终于，等不及的可可露决定前往星野枫的家，可是当她到达那里时却得知，星野枫已经搬走了。。That day is seared into the memory of every human being on the planet: the day the world changed.
